A piece of sterling advice & we should NOT return to the bush.

I just received a piece of pure gold advice from a blog pal.  Had to share it, it’s something that should be common knowledge, the world would be a much happier place.

“You work so hard at what you achieve and what you have.  Don’t forget to enjoy it!”

A friend of mine who also happens to be a student’s mom, comes from Malawi.  She points out how Malawians, having mostly nothing, seem to be so happy all the time.  Happy, friendly and hug-happy.  And why?  Because survival is not at all a given.  They are glad to be alive.  If you live in a place where you have to go to a croc-infested river to get your daily water, or where the lions prowl between the huts at night looking for an easy supper, then you are happy when you are out and about and alive.

My blogs go around in circles these days so I’m cutting this one short right here.  Have a great Sunday night.
