TGIF – what a nutty week!

And it’s not over yet because tomorrow we’re playing an audition.  For a wedding gig.  I wonder how many other groups she is auditioning.  Should charge her the fuel.  Thought of it too late – we don’t exactly have an auditions policy.

Anyway, the music studio’s site is finally overhauled.  It’s small touches but it does look better now, and is more logical.  There is one more site I need to create, for a friend, and something I have to fiddle onto the P’kaboo website.

2014:  A year for putting things in logical working order.  Let’s hope this spreads.  The amount of admin is murderous, but hopefully the routine will settle in soon.

Also, 3 weeks into the year there have already been 2 b’ups with keys at one of the schools where I teach extramural violin.

And one of my students is already entered for exams – theory, and Grade 8 practical.  (*Sigh*  I so hope every year that nobody wants to do exams…)

Our first Ceilidh is already past.  Was quite pleasant.

And it’s Valentine’s – so all of us keeled over from exhaustion.  It’s been a crazy, busy week and Pretoria was boiling, hot and humid most of the time.

Well, g’night to my blogpals and I’ll post a story post again some time soon.  Promise.  In the meantime feel free to click around the links in the sidebar.  😉

  1. Awesome blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download
it from somewhere? A design like yours with a few simple adjustements
would really make my blog stand out. Please let me know where
you got your design. Bless you
